Here's an email from Eternal Pit Mom Bonnie Olsen. Bonnie's Son Chuck graduated in 2006 and is now in the Air Force.

Hello Everyone!

I just had a phone call from Chuck giving me his address at basic training. They only gave them 3 minutes to give the information and everyone was rushing him. It was very hard to hear and I do hope I got it right. He sounded great and said to tell everyone hello and to please write. He said "I need all the encouragement I can get!" He should graduate somewhere around the middle of January.

Please don't send anything but cards and letters as his space is limited as to where he can store personal items. They aren't allowed to receive care packages at all while in basic. Pictures, cards, letters & phone cards are acceptable.

Please drop him a note if you get a chance. He'd love it.
