Sitting here on my lunch break at Goodfellow Air Force
Base, I ran across the band's web site.  Wow it's good
to see the program still up and going.  I'm
(Airman)Adam Adcock a 2004 graduate of DeKalb County
High school.  I must say that my years in the DeKalb
Band program truly gave me the extra strenth I've
needed in my Air Force career. I'm now an intelligence
analyst for the Air Force.  Carrying out the Air Force
mission takes hard work and dedication, and I must say
"I started learning those things during my time as a
band memeber".  As I go back to work, defending this
great nation, I feel at peace that the band program
will live on (loud and proud), for another generation
of band members to carry on the tradition, "A Winning
Tradition".
